90s classic ‘I believe’ by Blessed Union of Souls got the Tiesto treatment. Original redone by Jus Jack & Oza, Tiesto put his remix on the track ‘Love Is The Answer.’ It’s really cool to see how the original piano translates perfectly into an synth chord progression. Anytime we can dig into the crates and find something 90s related is a beautiful time.
Boys Noize released ‘Starwin’ on SoundCloud a few days ago. The track will be released as a part of their upcoming EP ‘Go Hard; on June 24th. Be sure to check that out as I think it will be nice and diverse. Boys Noize is very talented and likes to keep things fresh.
Well, it leaked. Are you really surprised? Leaked like Daft Punk, and speaking of, word on the street is DP produced the 1st 3 tracks. Edgy sounding. Not like their recent release. But Yeezus….let’s talk about it. A lot of distortion on all kinds of sounds. Honestly, I like Kanye’s flow on the tracks better than the flow of the tracks themselves. Ye definitely did this on purpose as everyone nowadays is all about trying something new and being different. This is all well and good, but give some throwback College Dropout and i’m good for an hour. I can’t hate on someone for pushing their own boundaries. I guarantee Mr West is more comfortable with releasing a College Dropout style album, but no artist wants to sound the same for years. It means you did absolutely nothing while in the music biz. This is basically 808s album part 2….scratch that, call it 808 and Daftbreaks. Actually, that would be an awesome album collaboration. Not just a couple songs. I wanna hear a full length album with Kanye and Daft Punk. Daft Ye, Daft West, Kanye Punk. I think I like Daft Ye the best. Enough rambling……download it now!

Here are some tracks I like on SoundCloud today. A spectacular summer mix by D.Veloped. Really great edits in this mix. A DJ Green Lantern remix of Iggy Azalea’s ‘Bounce.’ GL has been creeping back into the game. Or at least on SoundCloud. And last but not least a throwback remix of ‘No Scrubs’ by gLAdiator and Brazzabelle. This remix is more of a chill vibe and it’s solid all the way through. Highly reccommended. It’s not too “no-scrubby” if you know what I mean. The mix and no scrubs are available for free download.
