About a couple of weeks ago DubAtomic attended an insane foam party at Lupos in Providence thanks to Foam N’ Glow. K-Drew was one of the artists performing and I was blown away. The atmosphere was perfect. You have your sense of hearing with the music. You have your sense of smell with the venue (mostly sweat and beer, not necessarily a bad thing). You have your sense of sight with the crazy light shows. You haveĀ your sense of taste with said beer and anyone you’re playing tonsil hockey with. The foam is the 5th sense that brings it all together! You get the feel of being covered in foam as the lights, beer, music, and women complete a sensory overload unlike any other.
Now we have a brand new video from K-Drew. I like what I see happening with EDM and music videos lately. It brings a little extra something out of the music. The video can tell a story like the emotions can when just listening to the track alone.
In this new video, we see a constant battle between The People and The Establishment. A great topic to put this track to (or any dubstep song for that matter). There’s a sense of restlessness in the video that in a way makes you want to do something about something. It’s inspirational yet leaves enough out for you to make your own interpretations and to choose your own battles, whatever they may be. The last scene is such a sick way to end it. You have to watch …..’Learn from Yesterday, Live for Today, Hope for Tomorrow”
